Wood Service

We service a variety of wood appliances.

Wood stoves, inserts, zero-clearance fireplaces, masonry fireplaces and wood furnaces.

We charge a minimum of $200 an hour for this service at a one hour minimum.

We also charge a different rate for 2-man service. It is $250 an hour. We always start with a 2-man service for initial calls in case of tall chimneys, additional help needed to clean the unit, etc.

Time is then pro rated every 15 minutes after the first hour.

We do not take card payments of any type at this time. Cash, Check or ACH payments only.

What does service entail?

The typical wood service includes a full inspection and cleaning of the fireplace. During this cleaning we will sweep the flue and preform a Level I inspection. Fully cleaning allows us to inspect and diagnose the issues that may occur in the unit. We are then able to replace parts if necessary or make plans to purchase parts to repair the fireplace. After the unit is fixed we will go over operations with the homeowner.
